Up to this year, the share of the global low-cost airline market has topped 27%. But ANBOUND think tank scholars state that the growth prospect for China's budget airlines is likely to be rather bleak. An important reason is that Chinese public transportation has entered into a new era, due to the emergence and perfection of the high-speed rail system.
