ANBOUND:Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integration Requires Connecting the "Dead End Roads"
ANBOUND
One of the many difficult tasks lay ahead of promoting the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration is the issue called "dead end highway". According to incomplete statistics, among the three regions, there are up to 2300 kilometers of existed dead end highways. For example, Yanjiao and Tongzhou, the two areas are separated by a single river and have no access to smooth direct connection. ANBOUND research team states that to resolve the existing phenomenon of “dead end highway” requires a new plan to connect the dead end roads. Only through this way can we get through both the economic network and market system, in order to achieve the integration of various elements.
