ANBOUND: "New Normal" for China's Economy-A Slowdown in Investment

According to the macro economy data for the first half of this year from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's economy has shown positive signs of stabilization and recovery during the past two quarters. ANBOUND think tank scholars state that a decline in investment growth can be regarded as a "New Normal" for China’s economy. The gap caused by the slowing investment growth can hardly be filled in through the government’s intensifying method. Under the “New Normal”, there are still a lot of difficulties in the domestic investment structure transformation, due to system and mechanism limitations and the government intervention into the enterprise operations.
