China's Investment in Germany Lags behind the Two Countries’ Strategic Relationship
ANBOUND

In recent years, China and Germany have been enjoying a good and stable relationship. Germany is China's largest partner in Europe. Meanwhile, it is also an important finance and technology provider. ANBOUND think tank scholars think that there is a great gap between Germany's investment in China and the projects, enterprises as well as investment volume which are directly invested by China in Germany. Their bilateral investment is asymmetrical and isn't in accord with bilateral trade scale. What's worse, it lags behind the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership. Their relationship is a crucial cornerstone of global stability. Chinese government should vigorously encourage Chinese enterprises to invest in Germany and enhance economic and trade cooperation level of these two countries.
