ANBOUND: Xinjiang Shouldn't Copy the Development Mode of Coastal Areas
ANBOUND

ANBOUND think tank scholars believe that Xinjiang can be regarded as a crucial point for the Silk Road economic belt. Its future development and construction, whether in the field of economy or society, should focus on the improvement of living and educational standard, as well as the wellbeing of the local residents. Local interests should be taken into more consideration, in terms of investment and wealth accumulation flows and the job creation, in order to benefit the whole Xinjiang, rather than just resource utilization. The future orientation of Xinjiang's development must rely on creative thinking, instead of blindly copying the mode of coastal areas.
