Chinese society generally has high expectations for the implementation of the nuclear power and high speed rail cooperation between China and England. ANBOUND research team believes that China usually hope to improve its diplomatic relationship and to be welcomed by local residents through investing in some large projects. However, if China only values economic interests while neglects local culture, people's livelihood, environment, political risks as well as other complicated elements, these large projects might bring about complains of local people. Chinese enterprises should consider the specific need of different countries to invest overseas.
