How to Look at China's Current Economic Growth
ANBOUND

The Chinese government attaches great importance to the"preservation of employment /economic growth"in its economic development agenda. By such standard, the current economic growth is still acceptable by the Chinese authorities. Simultaneously, China's decision-makers are pleased to see the spontaneous adjustments of the Chinese economy and are trying to alleviate the government’s impact on the country’s micro-economy. In general, there is no underlying problem for such medium- and long-term policies. But whether these will be altered if GDP growth rate falls in the short-term (for instance, below 7.5%), is something that remains to be seen.
