Transfer of CNPC's Pipelines Needs to Show Publicness
ANBOUND

Mixed ownership reform of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) in the field of oil and gas pipelines attracted attention of all parties. ANBOUND research team believes that assets transfer of oil and gas pipeline network is not only a business activity. It also needs appropriate supervision to guarantee publicness of the network's operation in the future. In this regard, NDRC Price Supervision and Anti-Monopoly Bureau will probably shoulder heavy responsibilities. After the transfer the oil and gas network will no longer be assets of Central SOE. National Anti-Monopoly Bureau will encounter much less resistance in its law enforcement.
