How to deal with money-losing SOEs? It will be an unavoidable agenda in future reforms of Chinese SOEs and economy. In Anbound's perspective, creating an exit channel for SOEs will be beneficial to the Chinese economy. Although the Chinese government has experiences in managing the money-losing SOEs, but it is restrained by the current system thus relevant reform measures are hardly taken into effect. The real challenge is not the complexity of SOEs but the government’s political will and determination in driving SOEs reform.
