The Myanmar's political reform has led to huge changes in its relationship with China, which China appears unready for. Till today, in its public comments, China still can be seen "cherishing" the old China-Myanmar relationship and lamenting the “loss” of Myanmar. In the view of ANBOUND, China should not rest on the memory of old China-Myanmar relationship and should not be resentful at the “deviation” of Myanmar, instead, it should accommodate to the thoroughly transformed normal Myanmar. Thus being said, China needs to comprehensively adjust its coordinate system for its relationship with Myanmar, and develop the relationship with Myanmar with a brand new notion and strategy.
