Wide-ranging antitrust by Chinese government has greatly influenced domestic market. Antitrust and "De-IOE Movement" have obstructed business operation of foreign-owned enterprises. So what policies should be made? Will antitrust regulation become “industrial nationalism”? Will China promote import substitution strategy for trade protection? In our view, in the context of an irreversible trend of trade globalization and considering the fact that Chinese government has no intention to do something extreme, so there is no hint to prove that antitrust will turn out to be “industrial nationalism”. Besides, it is noteworthy that protection of “domestic market” is becoming an important factor for wide-ranging antitrust taken by Chinese government, whether foreign investment or domestic capital has no other choice but to follow up Chinese market's upgrading.
