Analysis on Trading of Rural Homestead and Houses

Compared to urban state-owned land, the utilization of rural collective land is stricter and has more restrictions in policy. Urbanization occupied a lot of rural land; however, peasants benefit little from land-value appreciation. They lack channels of getting legal land property income. How can peasants benefit more from rural land reform during the process of new urbanization in the future? How to introduce marketization factor in promoting the reform of rural land use while guarantee interests of peasants at the same time? These are practical problems that face China. The trading of rural homestead and houses should be breakthroughs of rural land system reform on condition that the rural farmland is well protected.
