China is on the way to revive and at this critical moment, every country's national power and development strategies are challenged. What trend would it be for China’s macro-economic restructuring? Comparing with the US, developing countries and the whole world, what are the characteristics of China? To study a nation’s development strategy, these are the fundamentals that can’t be neglected. Based on the data from United National Statistics Division and China’s National Bureau of Statistics, the report compares and analyzes the structure and trend of China’s GDP, Nominal GDP and Real GDP respectively, in the context of global economy during the period of 1971-2011 through the approaches of expenditure and production. It also projects, by means of regression analysis, the trend of China’s macro-economic aggregate and main structure as well as the respective time they will surpass the US.
