National New Urbanization Plan (2014-2020) was released on March 17, it contains 30,000 words and is divided into 31 chapters. The plan has wide coverage and even exceeded the scope of general urbanization plan. Similar to many major reforms in China, new urbanization in essence is the projection of Chinese economic and social development. This Plan clearly set the target of China's urbanization for the next 6 years and it will influence the development of Chinese urban and rural areas for a longer period. We have selected and analyze the content of this plan for readers’ reference.
