Debate on democracy is nothing new in China. Although democracy is a political concept that well recognized by both national laws and the central government directives, however it is still highly being opposed after a lot of discussions. To China, the understanding of political process and development of democracy system is more significance than simply endorsing or opposing it. Unfortunately, even Western scholars have not fully deciphered the development of democracy in the developing countries. We believe that democracy in the political development process is an objective existence, which cannot be achieved via transformation. Only by acknowledging that, we better understand China's future roadmap of democracy.
