The Prospects of China's NPC & CPPCC In 2012

The 2012 National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) will be held in early March. The unique of the "two sessions" is the "feature of leadership transition" –besides setting the last-year work arrangements for the current government, it also meant to "warm up" the upcoming 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in October. In addition, it also prepares transitional arrangements in advance prior to the central and local government transition by next year. In the midst of complex situation, what will be the "keynotes" of the "two sessions"? What will be the hot issues this year? Which will not? What kind of issues will create controversial?
