China's traditional "friendly" neighbour Myanmar is going through a series of transformation, especially its historical political transformation is affirmed and accepted by the Western countries. These types of transformation will not only affect the geopolitical condition in South East Asia, but also affect China's huge investment in Myanmar as well as the relationship between both sides. Chinese government and companies should re-evaluate the investment strategies and external affairs with Myanmar from a whole new perspective.
