The trading volume among five BRICS countries was US $330 billion in 2012. The volume of trade between China and four other BRICS countries reached US$300 billion, comprising over 90% of the total volume. Anbound thinks that the "BRICS system"is immature. While China gets most profits, it also needs to make a very large contribution. Judging from the trade figures, the BRICS has become the fifth largest trade partner of China, after EU, US, ASEAN and Japan.
