China Needs to be Patient in Trade Negotiations with U.S.
ANBOUND
The second round of trade negotiations between
China and the United States is in progress. Anbound points out that this
extraordinary negotiation is under greater pressure, because both China and the
United States have certain political expectations regarding the negotiations.
It is noteworthy that in the current U.S. environment, the President and the
Congress may take turns making political statements, which would cause the trade
negotiations to become even more complicated. In addition, if President Donald Trump allows
trade experts to take charge, China may face tough opponents who are familiar
with international trade issues. In this regard, China needs to maintain patience
and skillfully put industrial history and trade rules into practical use to achieve
satisfactory results.
