Trump to dispatch delegation to China
ANBOUND
The United States will dispatch a delegation of the highest economic officials to China to discuss the U.S.-China trade relationship. The visit will be headed by policy makers such as Treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin and trade representative Robert Lighthizer. Mnuchin is seen as a milder voice in the Trump administration, and Lighthizer as a hard-liner. It is said that in additional, Peter Navarro will be included. It can be said that the hardliners in the United States' trade with China will be sent to the forefront, but the key figures who really have the final say are not present. For this reason, the negotiations are not expected to be effective.
