On April 14th, the Guidelines of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Supporting Hainan's Comprehensive Deepening of Reform and Opening-up was officially released. The relevant policies include the new missions and strategic focus of Hainan's reform and opening up. The four new strategic positions of Hainan are: (1) comprehensively deepen the reform and opening up pilot area; (2) national ecological civilization pilot area; (3) international tourism consumption center; and (4) national major strategic service support area. In addition, Hainan will also build a free-trade port.
