ANBOUND
On April 12, the State Council's executive meeting decided that from May 1 this year, the import tariffs for all common drugs including anti-cancer drugs, alkaloid drugs with anti-cancer effects, and imported Chinese medicines will be reduced to zero. This means that all of the anti-cancer drugs imported by China will achieve zero tariffs, which significantly reduces the VAT burden on the production and import of anticancer drugs. At the same time, the government has adopted centralized procurement and import of innovative drugs especially urgently needed anti-cancer drugs into the medical insurance reimbursement list.
