Anbound's chief researcher Chan Kung pointed out that in the matter concerning China-US trade war, the trade-to-trade solutions will not solve the issue. The politics between China and the United States are, on the surface, a trade issue, but in fact this is a strategic conflict between the two countries; even if the trade problem is solved, there will be other issues as well. China's manufacturing industry is an "embedded manufacturing industry." If the trade war really erupts, China will pay the short-term costs, but the long-term costs of the Western countries' market will be even greater.
