U.S. announced imposing tariffs on China's US$ 50 billion exports

The U.S. government announced on the March 23 that it will impose tariffs on China's US$ 50 billion exports for China’s intellectual property infringement. U.S. trade negotiator Robert Lighthizer previously stated that these products include aviation products, modern railways, new energy vehicles and high-tech products. Lighthizer’s office will publish a list of targeted products within 15 days, followed by a 30-day period for public comment. The Chinese side expressed strong dissatisfaction and claimed to retaliate.
