U.S.-China relations key figure remains absent under Trump administration
ANBOUND
According to Scott Kennedy, a China trade expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), there is still no figure in Trump administration in U.S.-China relations. China has sent two special envoys to the United States since the beginning of this year. When the two visited the United States, they had asked the White House for a list of specific trade complaints, but they were told that there was no such list, which indicates that the White House is in a state of disruption. Under current circumstances, unless there is a very high-level exchange and communication between China and the United States, it would be difficult to see any progress.
