Unlikely for China, Japan to dump US bonds
ANBOUND
The U.S. is igniting the global trade war. Some analysts said that U.S. bonds held by foreign countries are its vital point. So far, the total amount of U.S. bonds held by foreign institutions or individuals has reached as high as US$ 6.3 trillion, with China and Japan ranking first and second places respectively. If China and Japan suddenly dump the U.S. bonds, the market will be in trouble and may force the U.S. to change its trade policy. However, it is very unlikely that countries like Japan and China will jointly dump the U.S. bonds because this will have a tremendous negative impact on the global financial system.
