Scott Galloway, a New York University professor in a recent analysis pointed out that while technology giants are serving mankind, they are also bringing forth many negative effects, which include: (1) huge wealth accumulation within a short period of time; (2) daily life of people being controlled; (3) taxes paid are below the average level of the enterprises; (4) job opportunities reduced; (5) size of the middle class reduced; (6) market being monopolized, causing the failure of market; and (7) conventional media industry in the content field subverted. A similar situation has also appeared in China.
