The National Tourism Administration of China said on February 18 that the total number of tourist receptions nationwide reached 287 million during the first four days of the Spring Festival, an increase of 11.1% over the same period of the previous year. Tourism revenue totalled RMB 352.7 billion, an increase of 11.6% over the same period of last year. The top ten tourists in Sichuan, Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangsu, Henan, Anhui, Shandong, Hubei, Guangxi and Shaanxi provinces accounted for 63.83% of the total tourists in the country. National Tourism Administration also said that during the Spring Festival popular tourist destinations include Thailand, the United States, France, Vietnam and others.
