China's fertility rate lower than Japan
ANBOUND

China's fertility rate has been lower than that of Japan since 2000, with an average of only 1.18 in China from 2010 to 2016 while the rate in Japan is 1.42. After the two-child policy is implemented, the number of births in China was 17.23 million in 2017, a decrease of 630,000 compares with the previous year. The birth rate was about 12 ‰, down 0.52 ‰ compares with the previous year. Even with the implementation of the two-child policy, the fertility situation in China has not yet escaped the risk and it is worth the Chinese community's attention. China's population and aging crisis may be even more serious than that of Japan in the future.
