PetroChina has recently signed a purchase agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG) with U.S. companies, and by the end of 2043, it will annually purchase 1.2 million tons of LNG from the United States. As China's international energy supply security needs to be reassessed, the United States has a significant influence as an energy exporter and is also reshaping the global energy security landscape. By strengthening energy supply security and appropriately increasing cooperation with the United States, China can both increase its energy supply and strengthen the China-U.S. Economic and trade ties.
