Vietnamese labors indispensable for Chongzuo's sugarcane industry

Sugarcane industry in Chongzuo, Guangxi has been inseparable from Vietnamese labors. According to a recent article of Chinese National Geographic, a large sugar cane plantation employs a total of 1,000 Vietnamese labors through labor dispatch agencies. Vietnamese labors are able to endure hardship and work efficiently. These workers not only can fill the shortage of local labor force, they also keep a low labor cost in many aspects such as harvesting and sugar making; even a local pointed out that "without Vietnamese labors, sugarcane in Chongzuo will be in trouble!"
