Hainan Province recently issued Opinions on Further Strengthening the Macro-control of Land and Improving the Benefit of Land Use, clearly setting up the plan to adjust the rigid restraint mechanism, and to amend land use rights to other residential land for other purposes without permission. Hainan Province completely stopped the formalities for examination and approval of property-type hotel land. The cessation of approval of property rights hotel land policy reflects the Province is increasing the control of land supply, and that the Province prohibits the development of commercial housing disguised as property-style hotel.
