Kazakhstan accounts for 40% of the total uranium mining in the world. In recent years, 50% of its uranium output has been exported to China. The huge demand from China "stimulated" the development of the uranium industry in Kazakhstan, ranging from uranium mining, nuclear fuel production, export of nuclear fuel to China to the processing and recycling of nuclear waste. In this way, Kazakhstan will form the entire industry chain in the field of nuclear resources. Such an industrial chain will depend on China and reinforce the strategic relationship between China and Kazakhstan.
