RMB should fulfill requirements to become global "hard currency"
ANBOUND

In the third quarter of 2017, in the global currency reserve, the share of U.S. dollar dropped from 63.8% in the second quarter to 63.5%, while Renminbi rose from 1.08% to 1.12%. However, for renminbi to become the global "hard currency," the first condition is that the currency issuing country should be strong enough and at the same time maintaining a steady growth. Second, there must be a strong monetary system to provide support. In addition, the currency issuing country must construct a capital market with both depth and breadth, opening up to the outside world, and improving internal regulation.
