President Xi Talks about Chinese Economic Strength and Reform Costs
ANBOUND
At the newly closed APEC CEO Summit, President Xi Jinping showed great confidence in Chinese economic future development while at the same time, revealed that China is prepared to face the reform costs. ANBOUND's research team deemed that the biggest uncertainty that China's economy is facing is that whether the reform could be further deepened. The "reform costs" not only refer to shifting more economic resources towards the people’s livelihood, but also mean breaking up vested interests’ control of the economy. What should be expected are their strong resistances and the social system cost.
