Although it makes them feel uncomfortable, left-wing media all over the world have noticed how popular Donald Trump is in Europe right now. Media from various countries, who harshly criticized Trump not long ago, now report that his first trip abroad after winning the presidential election was to Paris. He attended the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral as the president-elect who represents the U.S., while the current U.S. president stayed in the White House, watching the TV broadcast. Trump was clearly the center of attention on the world stage for the first time, with French President Emmanuel Macron rolling out the red carpet to welcome him, patting him on the back and shaking hands repeatedly in a very cordial manner. The left-wing French president warmly told Trump, “You were at that time president, for the first time, and I remember the solidarity and your immediate action”, and continued, “So welcome back again. We’re very happy to have you here”.
During a trilateral meeting with the U.S., France, and Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was seen walking to greet Trump. After Trump arrived in Paris, he made a brief speech, saying that the world today is very chaotic, expressing his determination to end the war in Ukraine and stop the turmoil in the Middle East. Clearly, Trump has brought America’s strength back to Europe. Europe used to be the center of the world, but these left-wing politicians, due to poor judgment, have rendered themselves worthless, looking very dishonorable and self-deprecating. They shout slogans loudly but achieve nothing, and their political shifts are incredibly fast, which is the inevitable result of a severe lack of strategic foresight.
The future of the relations of the U.S. with the United Kingdom is worth noting. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who is oriented towards Europe, shares the left-wing disdain for Trump. However, with his European counterparts in such a state, there is little he can actually do. His only option seems to be hastily calling Trump, hoping to bolster their relationship. Beyond that, Starmer’s hands are tied, his only course of action appears to be raising taxes and making the British people fork out more money.
