Anbound's Chief Researcher Chan Kung said slums should not be excluded in ideal city framework
ANBOUND

Mr. Chan Kung, Anbound's chief research does not consider slum should be excluded under the framework of an ideal city. In his speech eight years ago, he pointed out that the problem of slums in urbanization is the most worth exploring part of urbanization in the future. Because of China's poverty, poverty in Asia is the greatest poverty in the world. As a well-known think-tank scholar in urban research, Chan Kung actually made it clear as early as 12 years ago that the city's enthusiasm for manufacturing industry should be appropriately cooled down and the expansion rate should be controlled, especially in the larger cities in China, otherwise the cities might be out of order, which would cause confusion. Second, the government must pay attention to shaping the supporting and living environment for the small-scale economy and even the informal economy. There are always people in this society who need to make a living in the informal economy. There are always people who need to do small businesses. Therefore, the small-scale economic model is a necessary part of a city and should not be left behind.
