Why Trump rejected recognition of China's market economy status
ANBOUND
The United States has publicly rejected the recognition of China's market economy status recently. Anbound believes there are three reasons for the United States to do so, the first being President Donald Trump not satisfied with the WTO and vowed to withdraw from it; this move can be considered to be tentative. The second reason is that the United States considers continuing to use the WTO as a "brake pedal" tool in the global market to assault China's influence and the its impact of commodities. The third being using this as a bargaining chip for the future negotiations, continuing to pressure China to abandon its control in some sensitive areas so as to create better policy conditions for American companies.
