Fuyao Glass Industry Group (OTCPK:FYGGY) said U.S. government agencies on July 26 searched a subsidiary in Ohio as part of an investigation into a third-party employment-services company.

Fuyao Glass America, the unit of the Chinese company, was told that it wasn't the target of the investigation, according to a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

A U.S. Homeland Security spokesperson said their special agents are serving search warrants at Fuyao Glass and 27 other locations as part of an investigation into "allegations of financial crimes and labor exploitation," according to a local news report.

Production at the Ohio plant was partly halted during the search, which was completed Friday. Cargo transport and delivery weren't affected, and current operations are normal, according to the company.
