Competition between China and India in satellite navigation systems becomes more intense
ANBOUND

Driven by the rapid development of China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, the Indian government officially launched the Indian satellite navigation plan in 2006. On the one hand, India signed an agreement with the United States and Russia to obtain the American GPS codes and the Russian GLONASS satellite navigation system codes. India also cooperates with the United States on the construction of the GPS-aided GEO augmented navigation (GAGAN), and strikes deal with Russia on GLONASS. This undoubtedly exacerbates the competition between China and India in the field of satellite navigation systems.
