According to Chan Kung, Anbound's chief researcher, Beijing and other key cities may consider establishing a street representative system. Under the leadership of the urban sub-district offices, the representatives will play the role of urban residents and oversee urban management, as well as participate in street management from a more objective perspective, in order to improve street management. This should be the future focus of institutional innovation.
