China-US should move towards structural cooperation beyond ideology
ANBOUND
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's recent remarks about the new strategy in South Asia are intriguing. Anbound's Chief Researcher Chan Kung believes that the United States' new strategy in South Asia is a confusing "ideological" issue. In fact, for China-US relations and US-India relations, one is based on solving difficult problems of cooperation, another is based on the development and power; the two relations are very different. China-US relations should go beyond ideology and move towards pragmatic cooperation, which should be a structural rather than competitive cooperation.
