Anbound's Chief Researcher Chan Kung believes that the United States' new strategy in South Asia is a confusing "ideological" issue. In fact, for China-US relations and US-India relations, one is based on solving difficult problems of cooperation, another is based on the development and power; the two relations are very different. China-US relations should go beyond ideology and move towards pragmatic cooperation, which should be a structural rather than competitive cooperation.
