China's BAT (Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent) giants have set their major plans in automotive industry. Each of the three giants Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent has its own focus; Alibaba focuses on the operating system, Baidu on automatic driving and car networking, while Tencent’s plan is quite extensive. Anbound points out that the automotive industry is a large system; the Internet giants’ attempt to penetrate the automotive industry penetration should be focusing on technology and capital links, else the possibility of failure would be great.
