The market size for mobile payment in 2016 has reached 2.9 trillion, which has increased 20% in the past four years. More than 0.47 billion Chinese were using mobile payment in the previous year. The digital payment market is 50 times more than the US. In 2016, the total size of China's digital market has reached 30.61% of its total GDP. The change in the economic system should be paired with an appropriate taxation system; China can learn from the case of European Union which has started to propose the taxation plans on the digital economy.
