Hamas Secures a Milestone Victory in Information Warfare
White Mountain

Israel's efforts are in vain, as the world essentially disregards objective facts and is even unwilling to consider them. Israel worked hard to prove that the Gaza hospital blast was, in fact, caused by Hamas, there is no longer any condemnation of Israel for its inhumanity regarding the incident. Yet, countries and international organizations that initially had criticized Israel vehemently have not apologized to the latter. Meanwhile, they continue to find other reasons to condemn Israel because they believe that only by criticizing Israel can they showcase their global standing and maintain their influence for justice.

Hamas has successfully manipulated a misguided sense of justice. They are indeed adept in information warfare. They do not merely release information to try and overwhelm their opponents to become the dominant narrative. Instead, Hamas' information warfare is clever and skillful, emphasizing the use of information, the use of others, and even capitalizing on the mistakes of others. Thus, such information warfare is brilliant and effective, with a key principle of emphasizing specific information that benefits their own cause. This approach incurs minimal costs because, in practice, they can make use of others' efforts. This could be done simply because there are always gullible people.

The Cuban regime is not one that is liked internationally, but they have Che Guevara; Indians may be looked down upon by Europeans, but they have Mahatma Gandhi; the Vietnamese too have Ho Chi Minh. Even China’s Mao Zedong made an appearance in the form of a tattoo on the world-famous boxer Mike Tyson’s arm. This world always has a group of people who rally behind certain leaders that they idolize. This power is conferred by capitalism and is certainly not granted by the organizations, forces, religions, or powers that they choose to embrace. While this might sound absurd, it is an undeniable fact.

Who is primarily responsible for protecting the civilians in Gaza?

This has now become Israel's responsibility. From the United Nations to the United States, from Europe to the world, they all believe that it is Israel, not Hamas, that should protect the civilians in Gaza. This may sound untrue, but it is indeed the case. Such a distorted reality is undoubtedly the result of Hamas' successful information warfare.
