The Japanese government has ended its Yen Loan program to China on September 26. Since 1979, the Japanese program has been involving in a total of 367 projects, with a total amount of 3,316.5 billion yen, and Japanese yen loans have been widely used in infrastructure construction. The Japanese side pointed out that, "In recent years, China repays more than 100 billion yen annually; and there is no delay in repaying the debt and the interest". The contribution of Yen Loan to China's economic development cannot be ignored.
