The State Council of China has published the "State Council General Office's Opinions on Improving the Regulatory Systems for Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, and Anti-Tax Evasion." The “opinions” indicate that there are still contradictions and problems such as incomprehensible regulatory system, issues in the coordination of cooperation mechanism, less developed interdepartmental exchange of information and data, and lack of the ability to fulfill the responsibility of anti-money laundering.
