On August 31, the CCP politburo convened a meeting discussing the preparation of the 7th Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee and the 19th Session of National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The meeting concluded that the 7th Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee will convene on October 11 in Beijing. The politburo also suggested that the 19th Session of National Congress of the Communist Party of China should convene on October 18th in Beijing. The meetings will grasp the new request of the party and the national career development, and the new expectation from the public, formulating operational agenda and policies that suit the current development.
