China exerts some influence over India on hydrological information of Yarlung Zangbo River
ANBOUND

The Indian part of the Yarlung Zangbo River was named "Brahmaputra River" by the Indians. China has been in negotiations with India regarding the issue of the construction of the Zangmu Dam since 2006, and has since been provided hydrological information of Yarlung Zangbo River during flood season until recently. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Chinese government has not shared any hydrological information on the Himalayan rivers. The suspension of the provision of information is evidence of China's influence on the water resource and hydroelectricity provided by the Himalayan rivers. By this means, China exerts some influence over India.
