China Unicom recently announced its "mixed-reform program", in which BAT (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent) and other large internet companies are joining the reform as well. However, whether China Unicom can become a benchmark for the mixed reform remains to be observed. In the three operators, China Unicom is in a weaker position, which is the reason it obtains the first "ticket" for mixed-reform. Financial reports of the three major operators reveal that China Mobile's dominant position has been stable, followed by China Telecom. The market has different opinions on the outlook for the change of China Unicom, showing that there is still uncertainty in the mixed-reform.
